About The Nort

From San Sebastian to Galicia  in addition to Spanish  , we can listen to several languages, Euskera in the Basque Country, Bable in Asturias and Galician in Galicia, that's right the varied north and at the same time with some things in common, "La Mar" because the Bay of Biscay is not El Mar, it is La Mar

The water is not cold, it is very good!

It is known by all that the water in the Atlantic and in the Bay of Biscay is cold, no, icy! Especially for bathers from the warm south. But the locals deny it with a typical phrase that is repeated millions of times throughout the summer after taking a bath: "the water is ice cold at first, but then it's soooo good." “I prefer this water than the broth from the south, it is very good for circulation”…

"September is the best month." Yes. It's another one of those hackneyed phrases, but it's just another consolation that those of us from the North repeat over and over again to try to think that perhaps the long-awaited summer and the sun will come to the end of the season. season.

"In the north you sleep great" . Correct. While in the south they suffocate and spend sleepless nights sweating profusely, with temperatures exceeding 30 degrees at midnight, in the north we boast of having to sleep with a blanket until the middle of August. And we love to tell all the beings that inhabit this planet that as in the north YOU DO NOT SLEEP   anywhere else.

"If it were sunny here, this would be paradise." And I admit it is true. The beaches in this part of the world are incredible, virgin, in some cases even deserted. White sand, like flour. I have friends who assure that this area will be, with climate change, the new Marbella (an affirmation that hopefully does not come true).
