Principado de Asturias

 Asturias

Traveling to Asturias allows you to remember sensations that are often forgotten, such as the calm of being in wide green valleys and stepping on the grass, the aroma of the sea during a sunrise or the touch of fresh air while enjoying the views in the impressive natural viewpoints.

And they are not the only sensations that await you: the cuisine of Asturias is popular in Spain for its flavour; The region has unique examples of pre-Romanesque art and its cities have reinvented themselves through culture and architecture, leaving behind their more industrial past.

Gijon

Gijón is the largest city in Asturias, the country's main cider-producing region. Often overlooked in favor of the regional capital of Oviedo (a half-hour drive south), however, it has plenty to lure the curious traveler, including dozens of bustling cider houses, seafood restaurants, and great beaches.

Oviedo

Oviedo is a clear example of a city that can be enjoyed with all the senses: its beauty is obvious, Oviedo sounds like the bells of the CajAstur clock and it is charming even when it is orbaying (which, by the way, tends to happen often ). In Oviedo you eat and drink a lot and well. In Asturias, dishes are generally served in abundance. You eat a lot, a lot, until you finish fartuco.

On the other hand, Oviedo smells clean. It can boast of being the cleanest city in Spain, for more than obvious reasons.
