  You can travel to Morocco again from February 7, 2022 and the requirements are easier since May.

The documents to travel to Morocco from Spain are the following:

  • Valid passport with a minimum validity of 6 months from entry into the country. The DNI is not accepted.

  • Valid vaccination certificate or PCR carried out within 72 hours prior to travel: Please note that for Morocco a vaccination certificate is valid if you have the booster dose or if you have 1 dose of Janssen or 2 doses as long as no more have passed 4 months from the last vaccination. Children under 12 years of age are exempt from being vaccinated, children from 12 to 18 years of age must have 2 doses.

  • La  File Sanitaire du Passenger . This can be done online or on the plane or ship, where it will also be distributed among the passengers. Here you will have to give contact information so that they can locate you, if necessary, during the first 10 days of your trip to Morocco.

  • That is, from mid-May 2022, it is not necessary to be vaccinated against covid-19 to travel to Morocco.
    However, if you are not or do not have what the Moroccan government says is a "valid vaccination certificate", you will need to have a PCR done within 72 hours of your flight.

  • Are you traveling with children to Morocco? So you have to know that children under 12 years of age do not have to be vaccinated. Children between the ages of 12 and 18 must have 2 doses of the covid vaccine or undergo a PCR to enter Morocco.

  • Travelers in transit to another country do not have to meet the requirements to travel to Morocco above, but with those of the country to which they are going.

Documents to travel to Morocco

  • Requirements to enter Morocco from Mexico 

  • Passport valid for at least 6 months at the time of entry and until the date your trip ends.

  • At the entrance you must declare to the immigration authorities the amount of foreign currency that you bring with you.

  • Have family, work or financial ties in the place of origin that will allow you to demonstrate your intentions to return to your country of origin.

  • Have enough money to finance your stay.

  • It is necessary to have a return ticket to the place of origin or departure from the Kingdom.

  •  ***Remember: It is the exclusive power of the Moroccan authorities to grant or deny entry to a foreign person to its territory, even if they have a visa.***

  • People entering Morocco from MEXICO present a valid "Vaccination Pass" or the negative result of a PCR test against COVID-19, carried out within the previous 72 hours.

  • Prior to shipment, they must complete the health card, available at the following link:   form

* Valid Vaccination Pass: requires the application of three doses of the vaccine against COVID-19, or two doses whose last application does not exceed four months, except in the case of the Johnson vaccine in which one application is equivalent to two doses.

Protocol for minors:

  • Children under 6 years of age have free access without condition.

  • Minors between 6 and 18 years old must present a negative PCR test carried out less than 48 hours before their trip and undergo a rapid test upon arrival.

The vaccines accepted in Morocco are AstraZeneca, Sinopharm, Sputnik, Pfizer/BioNtech, Jansen (Johnson & Johnson), Covishield (Serum Institute of India), Moderna Sinovac.

Keep in mind that all vaccination certificates issued by other countries are accepted as long as they are valid in the country of issue.
